JUDI JOHNSON is a Jamaican-born film and television actress whose work is grounded in authenticity, emotional depth, and a powerful on-screen presence. Born and raised in Clarendon, Jamaica, to hardworking parents—a schoolteacher mother and an electrician father—Judi grew up witnessing resilience, discipline, and determination firsthand.
Her love for entertainment was sparked early after watching her eldest sister compete in the Miss Jamaica pageant, an experience that introduced her to performance, confidence, and the art of storytelling. After immigrating to Maryland, Judi began modeling, a journey that helped her overcome shyness and discover her voice in front of the camera. That evolution naturally led her to acting, where she committed to formal training and developing her craft.
Judi later relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time and has since appeared in television movies and feature films. Her credits include the lead role in What Love Will Make You Do and Last Love, the ABFF Best Screenplay and Audience Choice Award winner. Her work spans drama and romance, with performances rooted in emotional truth and relatability.
Beyond her on-screen accomplishments, Judi is deeply motivated by purpose. She believes storytelling has the power to connect, heal, and inspire, and she is especially passionate about encouraging others to pursue their dreams unapologetically. She lives by her personal mantra, “Live Alive,” continuing to create work that reflects resilience, faith, and the beauty of becoming.

"She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the Universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.
Ariana Dancu, Poetess
